April 12, 2010
DG FastChannel®, Inc. (www.dgfastchannel.com, NASDAQ: DGIT), a leading provider of digital media services to the advertising, entertainment and broadcast industries, today made a series of announcements at the 2010 NAB show.  Key highlights include:

DG FastChannel launches first and largest 3-D distribution network in the advertising industry

In the spirit of providing industry-leading services to broadcast advertising, DG FastChannel launched the first and largest 3-D advertising distribution network in the industry. The Company has enhanced its platform to enable delivery of first generation 3-D file formats, and has made considerable investments to support future formats as they become available.

While broadcasters are in the process of updating their infrastructure for 3-D, DG FastChannel is uniquely positioned to leverage its proprietary platform and expansive scalability to distribute 3-D content without burdening broadcasters’ resources. DG FastChannel’s satellite and private IP network accelerates the connection between top advertisers, agencies and broadcasters, shortening distribution time of 3-D spots, and providing a foundation for delivery of future bandwidth intensive, full resolution HD 3-D formats.

DG FastChannel will be discussing its 3-D media capabilities at “3D Commercials - Conveying a 3D Message in a 2D World,” a by invitation only panel at the Mouton 1 ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Univision partnership delivers HD Ads to up to 95 percent of Hispanic households

DG FastChannel announced a partnership with Univision Television Group that will enable Univision-owned and operated affiliates to receive high-definition (HD) advertising content for all programming beginning with the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

As of May 1, 2010, DG FastChannel’s Spot Box HD Xtreme™ – an end-to-end electronic video distribution solution equipping advertisers and broadcasters with a complete and robust solution for the distribution and management of HD advertisements – will be upgraded at Univision-owned and operated Univision and TeleFutura affiliates to support the delivery of high-definition (HD) commercials.  In addition, DG FastChannel will be deploying servers to those stations not yet online for HD or SD delivery.  When complete, advertisers will be able to order HD and SD spots for online distribution to the Univision Television Group, including the cable network Galavisión and all 63 owned and operated stations.

CoreMedia Partnership brings automation to direct response TV commercial industry

DG FastChannel and CoreMedia Systems, Inc. (www.coremedia-systems.com) will partner to introduce automated order entry and trafficking processes dedicated to the direct response TV industry by the second quarter of 2010. This industry-first, full-service automation will streamline advertising delivery to broadcast stations in a segment that primarily uses manual dub and ship methods.

The partnership links DG FastChannel’s SpotCentral™ solution, an intuitive web-based order entry and digital asset management system, with CoreMedia’s CoreDirect, the industry’s most widely used direct response media management software. As a result, CoreDirect users will be able to send distribution orders and traffic instructions digitally to SpotCentral without leaving the CoreDirect system. Once the creative and traffic instructions are received by a television station via SpotCentral, proof-of-delivery (POD) will automatically be posted back to CoreDirect’s traffic system. The process not only replaces manual order and traffic entry by fax or email, but creates a greener and more secure way to distribute direct response advertisements to broadcast stations. By combining each entity’s expertise, Direct Response advertisers can greatly enhance the ease of managing assets, which can ultimately translate into incremental revenue opportunities for the broadcast community.

New Canadian network strengthens platform

DG FastChannel strengthened its status as North America’s largest platform for the electronic delivery of broadcast advertising and syndicated content in HD following today’s launch of its Canadian distribution network and broadening of its Canadian services to include digital delivery of HD commercials.

The network upgrade enables both Canadian and U.S.-based advertisers, advertising agencies and production companies to electronically deliver HD and SD content to more than 96 percent of Canada’s television stations and broadcast networks, and more than 4,000 U.S. broadcast destinations.
